A crystallisation process enables heat to be storouge in a Gel 'cushion' and, by pressing an integrated button, this heat is gradually released. To recharge - wrap the cushion in a cloth and place it in boiling water (it must not touch the pan base). Within about 15 mins. the contents are once more fluid and reuseable.
